Benchmade H&K knives?

Allot are made in china.....the autos and fixed blades...maybe not all fixed though...... I think are made in the usa. The autos arent bad for the price point. The chinese made ones are not to the level of benchmades made in the usa.

price and steel give away where it was made and quality level. Not an exact science but a good indicator.

the chinese ones arent bad per say...but not to the qc and materials used in usa benchmades. Hope that helps?

I own the HK nitrous striker and its 154cm steel and is wonderful and usa made, i also had the hk p30 not usa made and it was aweful...... check the steel if its d2 or 154 go for it, of course the plan D would only be a last ditch knife so im sure 440 or 420 would would just fine

I liked my high-quality old ones I purchased in 2005 made by Benchmade in Oregon and Boker in Solingen, Germany.

HK 14250S made by Benchmade & HK X-15-T.N. made by Boker:

The old HK 14255 Tanto is one of my favorite knives ever constructed.

I'd love a rerelease with updated materials : M390 blade , CF scales with thick stainless liners and anodized hardware.

Drooooool.

I have that same Boker HK in X-15. I cannot get it to take an edge for the life of me!

Only one of the current HK knives I have handled had any issue. My Monochrome has a slightly wrong detent on it, but flicks just fine. The blade just sticks out a hair more than it should. All of the others were pretty much perfect. Factory grinds could be a little better, but even domestic BM knives have that issue.

So far I have great experience with Benchmade H&Ks. I have monochrome (440C), enigma, large & mini ascender. All of them are great, I have nothing but praise for all. Quality, fit & finish are excellent. All of them open up lightening fast, and yeah, my monochrome detent & monolock is super tough as well, yet still opens up fast. I edc enigma besides BM530 & tinker. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend H&K knives to friends.
