Benchmade Logo Differences

Hey all, I just recently purchased some second hand knives and noticed that there were some slight differences in the appearance of the Benchmade logo. One is a CU535-SS 20CV custom and the other is a 535-3 S90V. They both appear to be genuine Benchmade knives but I was wondering if anyone else has seen these differences. If not, please let me know if you think one might be a fake!

Album: CU535-SS vs 535-3

I have 3 bugouts, a Griptilian and an Adamas. On all of them the logo is much clearer than your CU535-SS. My Adamas has the thickest lines but even then you can see the R trademark pretty well. Don't know if your thick logo is sufficient to call it a fake. Your boxes look legit.
Will ask a Mod to move your post to the Benchmade subforum where we have a Benchmade Rep who sometimes will post an opinion.

Thank you very much for your time and recommendation! I figured there's some manufacturing quality differences but I didn't know if this seemed to be normal or not. It would be awesome if a Benchmade rep is available to check it out!

Gee... The boxes look legit for both of them...
It must just be slight manufacturing differences.
Was the "butterfly tax" the same for each of them? 🙃

Both are real

Could the difference be caused by the inherent nature' of the two different steels?

I wouldn't worry about it as long as the overall logo design is appropriate to the time period in which the knife was released (e.g., better not be any butterfly antennae on a Bugout)

I have a 730-1303 where the butterfly is under the thumbstud instead of next to it and a 730-1202 where the "Limited Edition xxx of 400" marking is very faint...both just known idiosyncrasies for those runs of the Ares.

If everything else about the knife is right and you don't have any reason to doubt the seller, a slightly weird logo wouldn't scare me off.

I have an older 151 Fixed Grip and 615 Mini Rukus that have logos on the thicker side.

You're gonna make me lay out all of mine, and see if I have any differences...

I've been looking over my meager collection of them...
While there are some slight differences in how pronounced they are on the blade: it's not really significant.
