I happened to notice this design today:

Looks to be a new design this year from Benchmade and I'm not seeing much in the way of reviews. Looks like a really useful tool for the overall size and pretty practical. Long sweeping curve of an ulu, and it looks like it might actually have a defined tip you can choke up on and leverage.

Based on the lack of reviews, it doesn't really seem to be catching on.

Just wondering if anyone has held one or has any thoughts on the concept.

This knife is next up on my "to buy" list -- will post about it when I take the plunge. Really interesting design -- I am a fan of Ulu knives, so I'm curious to see how the design translates.

Agreed. I decided to pick one up and give it a shot too.

It's listed as 4.41" of blade in a 6.58" overall height. Which seems like a lot of utility in a pocket size package.

I'm sure it'll be pretty good for skinning with that belly on the front. The back portion of the blade looks a little flatter, which might make it reasonably versatile. I'm wondering what else it will do well.
