First off, I really like modern plastics, composite and polymers and really like Valox used by Benchmade. I would acctually prefer that the Griptilians CPM 20CV models had a Valox option, as I would buy it over the G10. Now, I also like G10 but I don't see a value of it over Valox since I have never had a polymer scaled knife or firearm fail because it was using it.
I have done some searches, but has anyone done distruction tests on a knife where the polymer failed, and a G10 version did not? I am just curious because except for perceived quality, I can not find any negatives with a knife using a modern polymer for a knife scale.
