Has anyone seen the new concealed carry coats from Berne? I saw them at Big R yesterday, and was impressed.
I bought a Berne coat about 13 years ago, and I'm still wearing it in the shop when it's cold. It's a bit frayed, but still going strong. I just use the inside pocket of my Carrhart for winter carry now, but like the look of the Berne lighter weight coat for Spring and Fall use.

Are you talking about the one with this type of rip down pocket, the 'Echo One'?
Found this on amazon, but not their web site.

I wonder if that would actually be faster than just reaching into a pocket or holster?
 
The one I liked had a pocket on the chest on the left side for a smaller pistol too. Not that I can buy any of them, but I thought they were kind of cool.
 
Went to the Big R near home today. They had the lighter weight coat in my size on sale from $79.95 to $55.00 so I got it. Two rip open bottom pockets and two cross draw zippered chest pockets.
