Besides hunting, what do you use your 113 for?

I've always loved the look of the 113. Just a classic knife with great lines that feels good in hand.

Last spring during a Custom Shop sale, I pulled the trigger on an oak/nickel/s30v one. Pic below, but absolutely beautiful to me, and just how I wanted it.

Even though I haven't hunted in many years (I keep saying that I want to get back out there), I figured I'd use it for something.

But, like 9-10 months later, I don't think that I've carried it more than a few times. Too small for a general camping fixed blade or around the grill. A little heavy/thick for an EDC fixed blade.

What do you all use these for?

With some new purchases, I'm going through a pare down phase, and I'm having a tough time justifying keeping this knife around. If it was a stock model, it probably would have been resold by now.

113’s were a disappointment for me. I bought my first one to carry, but I dislike the plunge line. Here you can see how I fixed it compared to an unmodified one IMG_1564.jpeg
Then I ordered a custom nickel silver Cherrywood one and it is a black eye in my set. It just doesn’t look like Cherrywood. IMG_0726.jpeg

I have a 113 that I have also never used since it is stag. I do have a 391 with a very similar blade that I use all the time but not as an everyday carry. My everyday carry is a 503 and 726. I only carry the 391 when I am at my parents working around the property and it cuts everything that needs to be cut as well as for hunting. It did a great job of skinning a deer two weeks ago. You have a beautiful 113 that would look good in any collection. If I had one that nice I would be hesitant to use it for fear of messing it up.

I sold mine for this very reason. It had barely more than 2 inches of useable cutting edge. For an EDC fixed blade, I prefer the 152, although, I did have to grind away the "kick." I like the handle better than the 113, too.

If anyone is looking to sell a 113 please feel free to PM me. I have had one in the cart at Buck but just haven't pulled the trigger.
Lemme know if any of you are interested in lightening your load. Ideally Nickel bolsters.

Never mind. I found it.
