Which smaller blade do you prefer to be a companion to the GSO-10? Maybe piggyback but not sure. Just wanted to get some thoughts if you could only have two.

I would suggest the 3.5 or similar knife even though I don't own a 3.5. I do own a GSO-10, 5.1, & SK-4 (previously a 4.1 as well), and while the 5.1 is more of a stand-alone blade, the 4.1/4 is just a little too big for me to piggy-back. That typed, I regularly carry the GSO-10 and SK-4 around the property and think them an excellent combination. I need to sell one of my GSO's in the near future, and the 5.1 will be the sacrifice as it doesn't get used as often as the other 2. I didn't go in for the 3.5 because I prefer folders in that size/role. That's my $0.02.

Agree with chiral above, have both the 4 and the 3.5 and after using the 3.5 a lot recently, really enjoy it.

I found that the kydex sheath that came with my GSO-10 was a perfect fit for the Maxpedition Janus pouch, so I added one of those and a Bark River Bravo Necker 2, and I'm pretty satisfied.
Pretty much nothing I can't cover with these two chunks of 3V.

I cut up the velcro strap from the Janus pouch into strips and super glued them to the kydex sheath on the BRK Necker 2.
Works pretty well.

Plenty of room for a flashlight and fire starting stuff

If money isn't an issue I'd go with bradford knives guardian 3 in m390 or freeman outdoor gear 3" model 451 in s35vn just to have mixtures of brands as oppose to staying in just one.
