Best hot weather balaclava?

So for some reason I have suddenly developed severe allergies. Don't know why but it is what it is. So now when I cut grass I need to cover my nose and mouth. Tried bandannas and cut up T-shirts and they always manage to slide down my face or come undone on me. So I am going to buy a balaclava to wear under my ball cap. That'll keep everything out of my ears too. So... the question is... who makes a good quality, durable, light and breathable balaclava. Something in OD Green or Tan would be preferable to black as black is a hot color in the sun... and I don't wanna look like a grass cutting ninja. Tan would actually be the best cause it's flesh colored. Don't need fancy materials like nomex or kevlar or anything crazy. Just cotton. Something machine washable.

I'll look into those Buff things...

I don't want a shemagh cause I've already got torn up T-shirts and bandannas and I'm looking to get away from things I have to tie, twist, fold into place because it's too much hassle. Besides I think those things look goofier than a balaclava (And balaclavas look pretty dang goofy).

I tried a similar mask to those 3M ones and they don't seal really well on my face... I have a large broad head LOL. So most things made for a normal face don't fit mine well.

Thanks all for the suggestions. One more time for the road though... anyone know who makes a quality light weight balaclava?

You should look up how to tie a shemagh. If its coming off from lawn mowing your doing it wrong!

At any rate here you go, check out the: Schampa Coolskin Balaclava , Color: Black BLCLV015

Ive used it on a moto before, and my dad used this same one for a trip on his bike through a sandstorm.

Not to be a smart ass but around here if you have a balaclava on in the summer somebody might draw a bead on you.
Though being on a lawnmower might save you.

I'd still go with a filter mask designed to block allergens like this.

UnderArmour makes some stuff, head over to a local sporting goods store to check them out. They sell them in black, white, red, and blue I think.

As long as I don't have antlers on my head I should be good to go.

Now I've never seen one of those... that might be wide enough to fit my big ole head. I'll check it out. Thanks. But for ease or use and washing I am leaning toward that Buff thing or a Balaclava... something I can just pull on and off an toss in the washing machine.

Went ahead and bought a hand full of Buffs to try out. I think I'll get multiple uses out of the OD Green ones I purchased and I even picked up a Hunter Orange one for my Survival Bag... probably make you easy to spot with one of those on your head.
