In movies knives are often featured, what is your favourite knife featuring movie, eg. "The Fan", "Rambo", "Crocodile Dundee"

Hunting? Don't be a wise guy, what do you hunt with a knife?

Name it!

My favorite is "EXPOSURE" with Peter Coyote. Its a very good movie,a knife fighter teaches his skills to a photographer to avenge someone.

The Edge, penned by David Mamet, shows how useful a tool the traditional pocket knife is. Brilliant.

what about VanDamme's Cyborg? Basically a typical cowboy movie but set in the future and everybody uses knives instead of guns!!!!!Also a good knife test! Can you name the knives used? I can!!!

I'm partial to "The Iron Mistress" with Alan Ladd.
The Edge was good because the knife was used in a positive way.
A few years back HBO showed a movie starring John Savage and Micheal Pare that had two assassins fighting a Japanese brother and sister. The two assassins had double knives in a shoulder rig. The Japanese fought with swords. It was cool however far fetched.
I can't remember the name of the movie, though.

The scene from"The Longriders"where David Caradine and some other guy put a handerchef in their teeth and went at each other with Bowies.Stuck it to the hilt in the guys leg.Neat

I have to agree with Chuck; "My favorite movie featuring a balisong, one of my favorite movies altogether."

This is a must see movie. I bought it and have seen it at least a dozen times.

"Exposure".... was that the one where the main guy is a journalist? He saves the expert by shouting when he was about to be stabbed in the back. If it's the same movie, it was released here as "Knife Fighter". I guess they just wanted more sensation.

There is that bit in Cliffhanger where (the name has escaped me....) Stabs a nice spydie(endura?) into the british guys leg...that would hurt. And then the black guy with the knife/knuckleduster. They weren't portrayed all that well in that movie. Although the spydie did save 2 lives... anyway, enough babble.

All knives are created equal, then i get my dirty big hands on them and the real fun begins.

A great classic is Green Berets with John Wayne. Just about evert 2 minutes someone is getting stuck in the back with a knife!

No competition! It has to be "The Iron Mistress" About which, didn't someone say that they had read that they were about to release this on tape?

The Edge was the first movie I can remember that even attempted to explain the usefulness of a knive. So it gets my vote.
