Best metal for blade both white & with metallic sheen? Or maker...

So I would like to add to my collection a blade which appears white, though also with a metallic sheen. I purchased a high manganese katana, with tiger images laser etched. The blade is white, however, has no metallic sheen.
ChatBot was a bit ambivalent about the white with metallic sheen quality of high carbon steel vs. high manganese steel. Apparently it varies based upon alloy.
However, I would simply like to ask, which metal, with the proper alloy, has the greatest potential to appear white while retaining metallic sheen? Would it be high manganese, or high carbon?
In my searches, the high manganese blades tend to look whiter, though again, often without the sheen.
I should add, if anyone has searched for a blade with similar parameters, what have you discovered!? :)
