Best place to buy computer parts online?

After my computer woes lately, I have decided to build one. Where is the best place to buy components? Also a good place (read cheap) to buy the XP operating system.

I use www.pricewatch.com sometimes, and have had pretty good luck with them. They are just a clearing house for other vendors, not the direct seller.

I heartily second the recommendation of Newegg.com. The machine I'm on was built from parts I ordered there. Their everyday prices are low and they often have sales or deals that make them even lower.

I've bought from NewEgg and Tiger Direct, with excellent service. I ordered a video card from Tiger Direct a couple of weeks ago, and got it in two days flat. And that with regular UPS "ground" shipping.

Newegg.com Lets just say for the most part they are easier, faster, and cheaper than most of my reseller vendors. XP Pro OEM is only $135 there.

Newegg has been great for me. Never had any problems, and always get my stuff exactly when they promised, sometimes earlier too. Good prices, reliable perople, and they tell you if it is in stock or not upfront. If an item isn't in stock they won't let you order it.

ZipZoomFly is goo to for the order or two I have placed with them. I just don't like the website as much as Newegg, so tend to only order from them when I need sometheing Newegg doesn't have.

Another vote for Tiger Direct , used to deal with them in the thousands when I worked the payroll company a few years back , service is still fast and havent had too many problems with the merchandise.
