Best sites to buy knives?

I know that there are some good deals on Blade Forums, but what sites do you like to check for pricing? DLT Trading, Amazon, etc.?

Or is it always best to just buy them here?
 
I use Google Shopping and simply buy from whichever place has the lowest price and a good number of positive reviews. That in conjunction with browsing the forums here should yield tons of great prices.
 
For Kershaw and Zero Tolerance knives remember to check Kershawguy first. His prices & service are hard to beat.

For Benchmade try GPKnives.com and have them email you the real price, which is roughly 25% less than what Benchmade allows them to advertise.

Every once in a while BladeHQ has a competitive price on something that is widely available. But HQ really shines in those harder-to-find items like mid-techs, automatics, and premium imports such as Knife Research.

My favorite Spyderco sources are not on the list of Bladeforums approved (paid) dealers :foot:
 
I've always had a good service from knivesshipfree.com. Then again all I've bought from them are Bark River knives.
 
Check the forum section titled, "The Good The Bad and The Ugly" to find reviews of any dealer you're considering.

From the list of paid sponsors I shop at AG Russell, GP Knives, and New Graham.
 
Bladehq and he hollow grind are my two go-to dealers. I avoid amazon and lowest price dealers to maintain dealer support if needed. That's worked well for me in the past and been well worth the slight difference.
 
Blade HQ has had a permanent tab on the top of my browser for years now if that tells you anything....
 
The exchange forum here is best. Most of the members are solid citizens and good people to deal with. Kershaw Guy and Knife Center are great, too. I've gotten some good deals at Amazon on Victorinox Swiss Army Knives and bought through Spyderco.com a few times (though they are normally higher-priced than their retailers.) I've bought rom New Graham, too, with no complaints.
