Best sites to order sunglasses?

I'm looking for a pair of Maui Jims and found www.suntimeonline.com to have the best price ($189) but they've been out of stock for weeks and will be for at least two more. By that time I won't even need sunglasses since summer will almost be over.

I'm not having any luck, does anyone know of any other places with good prices?

CampMor doesn't have the style I want and Sierra Trading Post has no Maui Jims at all, but thanks. I'm weary of ebay for stuff like this due to warranty stuff.

I did find www.soleeyewear.com and they have them for the same price, but I can't find any reviews about that specific site.

+1

I recently bought a (new) Nikon Prostaff scope for my Marlin 39A. I got a TERIFFIC deal. It took me TWO HOURS to zero that scope because the printed documentation stated that the elevation was the windage and thewindage was the elevation.

It took me a long time to figure that our 'cause I'm not 2 bright. :(

Be careful of eBay.

Maui Jim is hard to find at a discounted price. They have a few at Costco now, but probably not the style you want. Other than buying secondhand on eBay you may have to pay a premium for them.

I've found them cheaper at quite a few places, it's just that those places have horror stories associated with them. The ones that don't only have the bronze colored ones in stock, the black ones are out of stock for at least 2 more weeks.

Maybe I'll just get the others and spray paint my $240 sunglasses black.

There are a lot of counterfeit sunglasses in the world. (Some of them are top quality too). Sometimes it's worth paying a little extra for some peace of mind.

Two weeks isn't too long to wait and bronze lens are nice too, especially for driving.

These come with all the stuff they're supposed to and aren't so cheap that I would question knock offs, but I was initially worried about that too.

Two weeks in itself isn't bad, but two weeks on top of how long I've been waiting before that and because Summer is almost over annoys me. Luckily it's cloudy today but every single day I wish I had the things now.

I've bought from eyesave several times with no problems--granted its been 4 or 5 years now---bought about 2 clearance pairs----then bought clearance Serengetti's from campmor a couple years back at price too low to pass up--which I'm still using.

Only reason I haven't been back is because everything is lasting for me-----not because there was anything wrong with the vendor.

Resellerratings paints a different picture:( It's hard for me to order something from a site with that many bad reviews, despite your good ones. I've never bought a pair of expensive sunglasses, last thing I want to happen is for me to get them and have them be damaged and get yanked around on returns/exchanges or something.

Well, just so you know, don't use SoleEyeWear or SunTimeOnline unless you like wasting the whole summer waiting for the damn glasses. Before I made this first post here I was in contact with them, and that's when they said two weeks. After those two weeks, I asked again and they said "one more week". I came back after that week and again, "next week". I tried one more time and was told "later this week for sure." Yesterday they finally told me that their order from MJ was delayed and that they'd be in stock in the afternoon, which is fine, but stop telling me they'll be there when they won't be.

Today they just got listed on the site (not yesterday like they promised, surprise surprise), so I'd have to wait until Tuesday to have them anyway. Up until today I was still going to do business with them and pay the overnight shipping I was told was available just to have them for the holiday weekend. Come to find out they don't really offer overnight either, it's 2 day. Yet another thing they misconstrued.

Bottom line, I wasted over a month and put up with sun in my eyes for that much longer just to save $50, and was dragged along the whole time. I'm done with them and will just be buying the glasses at a brick and mortar store for the full price of $253 despite summer being virtually over.
