As a first responder, I may be out in the wet and rain for some time during a call. Between the Charge TTI and the Black Oxide Wave, which one will resist corrosion better? Thanks!

Spend the extra dough for a TTi - you won't be sorry, I know I'm not. Ti is more corrosion resistant than stainless steel, though I know the tools inside the handles are not made of Ti, so if it's getting SOAKED, you might choose the black oxide. I don't see many times that your multitool would become so wet while inside a sheath that water saturates the sheath and soaks the tools inside the MT.

Additionally, the TTi feels much lighter and the blade on it is S30V.

I know someone who works in a kitchen and the regular leatherman wave gets a significant amount of oxidation between the blades. He found it annoying and thought about the Ti version, but decided it wouldn't help. His solution was to oil the tool (should have been doing that anyway :)). I think it's doing better now.

After many years, I had to give up the ghost on my wave. Completely rusted closed.

I oiled it occasionally, but it was in a drawer in the garage unused for a month (my dad put it there). Found it today. He has my car today, and I remembered that five or six years ago I have my dad a SOG MT. Found it in the glovebox, never been used. Perfect condition.

With the exposure you are talking about, I wouldn't spend too much on an MT, it's more than likely to corrode unless a lot of care is taken. Titanium is good, but if the tools and screws/fasteners are steel, it doesn't much matter.
