Hello folks,
Nope, no truth to that rumor. The story goes like this... Originally the whole run was to be made of ATS-34 but we found out that the long lead time for raw ATS did not match with when we wanted to introduce the Strider/Buck. Cj Buck had the idea of making the first 500 out of BG-42. That steel is more expensive but we kept the price the same and had them etched to boot. The idea was so well recieved that we have decided to do the same thing on any other Strider/Bucks that we do.
Hope this helps,
