I have a Buck 463 with Bill Dance fishing etched on the blade and I can't find any information on it can someone help.

Thanks

I dont know, but what date stamp is on the tang?, that would assist in a starting place of where to start looking.
I dont recall the 463 myself

It is called the Access and looks like it was in standard production from 2001-2003. No indication in the dealer catalogs of a Bill Dance regular offering, so it must have been a special project or offering of some sort.

All I know is that we did the project in 2003 and there were 5000 of them made. I dont have any other details on it unfortunately.

In knowing that this knife is 1 of 5000 made what is an approximate price, I know it will be difficult to price with a limited amount of info. I do have the box warranty paper and the knife has never been used

I always am way off the mark when I try and guess value, but in this case I wouldnt even know where to start. I dont know if a 3 year run would increase or decrease demand and value. Sorry. Gotta be someone on here that can venture a guess. ITE probably has 400 of them that he picked up by small collections:p

Bill Dance published a bi-monthly fishing magazine for about a year or so around that time period. It was called"Bill Dance Fishing". I remember one of the subscription offers included a Bill Dance Buck knife.

I am willing to bet your knife is one of those.

Does the knife have a finger hole and a pointed-almost wharncliffe blade? If so, I have a Buck from that same time period and it came from Wal Mart on clearance for $13. Mine has no model number. It says "U.S.A" and "B U C K" on the blade. No other markings.

I enjoyed the Bill Dance magazine but it lasted maybe a year or 18 months at most. I still wish I had subscribed just to get the Buck knife.

Hope this helps.
