Looking to sell my, the, Bill Siegel SHTF Sword. I'm the original owner from when Bill made this is 2012 (can't believe it's been that long). An awesome piece but hasn't been used in years, have other projects going on, and needs a good home.
First day I got it I downed an 12" diameter tree that had partially fallen in a storm, blew right through it. Original edge, hell of a chopper. Here's Bill's description from his sales thread:
"I am calling it the SHTF Sword. Whatever you idea of SHTF is, zombies,nukes, society collapsing,etc, this blade is ready for it. Bigger than a knife and heavier than a machete(about 2#s) it is ready for camp chores or fighting! It is 20 5/8in OA with a 14 3/8in blade. For the handle scales I used black G10 and stainless steel tube fasteners(slightly flared). The blade is 1/4in 5160 with a nice hamon
The almost full flat bevels take a lot of weight off the blade. I left the mill scale on the flats for a rougher look. Very fun project for me 
Comes with a Kydex sheath set up for a large Tek Lok(not included)"
I've used Renaissance Wax and Ballistol on the blade to help prevent corrosion, but unfortunately I have a high humidity house and even with my best efforts a couple spots have popped up that could probably easily be removed.
