BK16 Screw Specifications

Hi,
Was wondering whether anyone had any idea as to what the actual *specification* is of the screws/nuts that KaBar uses on the BK16?
I tried one of the machine screws that I have at home - but the hex key nut head size is slightly wider and the thread looks different.
Any help on this would be highly appreciated.

There's a thread in the bk&t forum that has those specs, but it's an 8x32x 5/8" long socket cap. Iirc, it'll fit a 3/32 hex wrench.

8-32x1/2” socket hd. cap screw is what you need and 8-32 nut. 5/8” will be too long.
 
Managed to pick 5 up from internet ... fitted a treat :) ... thanks for all the help :D
