BK19 Becker Nessmuk

I have read that Becker stopped printing USA on their blades in 2021. I now want to buy a BK19 to add to my small collection of Becker knives, but I do not want to buy a fake/copy of the knife. I see on ebay 98% of all the NIB used ones, have the USA printed on the blade.

What's the odds those are all pre 2021 knives? Is this model Becker highly faked?

There seems to be a lot of 18 & 19 counterfeits on the internet. Truthfully, I’m not even sure if the 19 ever had “USA” on it (mine doesn’t) but if it did, I think your best bet would be to buy from a reputable site and ask them if they have any in stock with “USA” on it.

I believe that to be accurate, the steel is now source from Germany; thus “USA” was dropped.
