BK2 effectiveness compared to BK9 and BK1

How do you find the BK2 comparing to the BK9 and BK1 in terms of chopping, batoning, and/or overall tool power?
 
I have all of those, I like the Bk 9 the best over all for the chopping between the 1 & 9. I'm not a huge fan of the 2, nothing wrong with it, It feels too thick in my hand for a 5" - 6" blade. If it were a one knife only scenario then I could see it as an option. The Bk1 is approx. 1/4 thick and great for prying and with the right edge chops decently. I don't know, 3 different folks will pick 3 diff. things. Where are you in oregon bro?

Thanks for writing about your experiences (I'm trying to avoid using that 'sharing' word). I live in Portland. What area of Oregon are you in?

I'm thinking about ordering the BK5 this weekend :)
 
Bk5 is nice.
I have the 2 and the 9.
Same thoughts as OF the BK9 will easily outchop the BK2.
 
Chopping goes to the BK9 all day long. The BK2 can out drill and pry the BK9 though. Both are AWESOME knives...I always feel like I am splitting hairs when I compare any of the Becker line. Do like me...try to own them all!

GKN, own them all. Now there's a plan for me! :D
 
Good advice everyone. I like how the BK2 is not so much tapered at the very end rather there is a sharp angled point to it. I'm not sure how to yet technically describe that in knife language.
 
I've been ripping hell through firewood with my BK2, making kindling and starter slivers. Have yet to send the BK9 in to kindling duty, but if it's even better than the 2, look out!
