This is a pretty collectable box of ammo. 50 round LE box of Ranger SXT.
Identical to the original Black Talon bullet, right down to the black (Lubalox) coating. Brass cases, sealed primers.
Only real difference is these were made for law enforcement in 50 round boxes after Winchester did away with the 20 round BT boxes, and restricted the BT bullet to LE.
These earlier Ranger SXT Talons with the black coating are far tougher to find than the later versions without the coating.
The box is in pretty good shape, the internal cardboard holder is somewhat uneven/damaged which can cause a few of the rounds to come loose. It's cosmetic, and once properly put in the holes, the cartridges do stay there. It's pretty trivial but worth mentioning.
Finding any 9mm LE ammo is tough lately, especially in +p+. And these are essentially +p+ Black Talons, kind of a 9mm ammo grail. Last gun show I went to I saw 20 round boxes of Black Talon priced at $100 each! Granted, that's nuts, but for perspective, here you're getting the same thing, but 2.5 times as much (50 rounds), for way less $.
Id like $55 plus $10 shipping. Must be shipped UPS which will run me likely closer to $15.
