Blackhawk Lightweight tactical pants

They are having a trade up program right now where you send in another brand of tactical pant and you can get about a 50% discount for a pair of theirs and I am going to send them a pair of 5.11 nylon pants which are a 40x32 and I am now a 38x32 so good way to get a rid of pants that do not fit for some that hopefully will. I already have two pairs of 5.11 tac lites and they are awesome. But if anyone has experience with the Blackhawk brand pants then you opinions would be welcomed.
 
I have owned 3 pairs. They are heavy canvas well made and molle kit on the butt to boot. That being said, every single pair I have owned has ripped at the wear marks. I think the canvas is too thick. I haven't tried their light weight pants yet.
 
I have been considering getting a pair of these too. How does the sizing compare to 5.11 Taclite Pro Pants? No one in my area carries Blackhawk gear. How well do they stack up to the Taclites?

Very close. The Blackhawk Warrior Wear pants run a bit big compared to the 5.11s. If it wasn't for the tearing on their regular pants I would actually prefer Blackhawk to 5.11. That being said, I am wearing Tad Gear Force 10 at the moment. One of the guys here has the light weight Blackhawk pants and loves them.
 
I wish I knew how they stacked up to the 5.11 I am probably going to get another pair of 5.11's because the shipping and then the price I would get for the for the trade in are about 3 bucks more than a pair of Tac Lites from my local store. I am going to think about it some more.
 
Is the Black color of the Blackhawk lightweight tacticals true black or more of a dark grey?
