Blackhawk MOD folders

Hello my fellow blade enthusiast, I have been looking into the Blackhawk cqd folders and was wondering if any of you have experience with them. The main thing I need answered is wether or not the lockup is solid, the heat treat is solid, and if the overall fit and finish is good.

This is my friend's Black Hawk knife. The work is not as good as MOD, the completion is ok. The material is 440A, which is suitable for daily use.

I bought my Dad a MOD Point Man many years ago. It’s got a robust liner/nested frame(?) lock that has held up to daily carry very well. Still working perfectly.

Lockup with button locks can be hit or miss. Make sure you either ask the dealer to check the lock or assure that you can return the knife.
