Our very own Gus Kalanzis was so very kind to bring this heirloom quality Scottish Baskethilt Sword by renowned artist Vince Evans

Please have a look at this video and lets all say congrats to our own Bastid :)

Fantastic workmanship, as said a real heirloom. I hate to think how many man hours went in to making it!

Thank you Marcel. Vince is the one deserving the kudos.

Congrats on this magnificent masterpiece, Gus.

Many thanks for doing all these vids, Joe.

While at the show, Gus graciously allowed me to thoroughly check out the sword. The craftsmanship and the attention to detail are without equal, a truly inspirational piece.

Thank you Gus

Great piece! I can't even guess what something like that would cost!! Since Nick helped unsheathed it, maybe he will be making a Wheeler sword in future?

Congrats on the beautiful sword Gus. I'd have a hard time refraining from taking it out in the yard and chopping something.

Joe, merci for the video, I have no words... just a big WoW !!!!

A question, how many days to creat this "merveille" ??

Hello Berno,

Vince started forging the Blade in November and finished the sword in mid May

Merci, for the information, it is good that today it is still possible to make of incredible piece..

It was so great to see my friend Gus again!!!

And the fact that he let me handle this CRAZY AMAZING work of art was just icing on the cake. Vince is such an unbelievably talented bladesmith. I really don't even know how to describe this piece other than to say it is jaw dropping, crazy amazing, AWESOME!!!!!  :)

Thank you Gus!!! :)
