Blade finish options question

Please excuse my elementary question. It’s been years since I’ve left the knife community, but I have been dabbling here and there. The last Busse I bought was probably 12 years ago and I don’t remember what nuclear option means or competition finish and so on. I know the coated it is basically a painted surface. I received the email on the Viking sword and it has peaked my interest. I’m considering getting my first new busse in a very long time.

Coated pretty sure is powder coat finish.
Competition is nice and shiny, hand finished i think.
Nuclear means you get competition and a random custom set of g-10 slabs.
And stone wash is a tumbled finish I believe.

Thank you very much. That is pretty much what I remembered or suspected, but I just want to clarification. Much appreciated.

I believe in all recent releases the "nuclear" option means a non-standard handle option, but doesn't have anything to do with the blade finish. (No relation to the "nuclear meltdown" treatment from years ago.)

The current incarnation of "Comptition Finish" is a sort of budget satin. It's not as polished as satin, but still pretty nice. (Again, no relation to the original "competition finish" from years gone by where the blades didn't have the decarb ground off.)

Think there is some confusion on this, I may be wrong but believe:
Compititon finish has light machining marks (not coated).
Satin finish is the hand finished polished option.
Bigger T I think is right on the coated and stone was finish.

Below pulled from Busse website regarding "neclear" may lead to confusion.

Nuclear Meltdown treatment rounds all exterior corners of the blade, handle, and pommel, for a massive reduction in any possible stress risers and potential "Hot Spots" under heavy use!

NUCLEAR Handle Option:*
*The Nuclear Handle Option is not for the faint of heart but rather for those bacon-loving HOGs who do not fear the unknown!!!
The Nuclear option on the Viking Sword is a grab bag of sorts. You will receive a randomly selected handle from a pile of Nuclear Castoffs.
This pile of handles has many hand-laminated G10 and Micarta slabs as well as some solid colors not normally offered!
This option does not allow you to choose your handle!!!! . . . You do not get A CHOICE! You will get whatever you get by the blind luck of the draw! It is a veritable PORKpourri of oddball handle materials! The Nuclear Option Handles are available on Coated, Stonewashed, and Comp Finished blades. Nobody likes whine with their bacon, so we have implemented a "No returns/No whine clause"!
There are no returns on the Nuclear Option. . . .
