I put this one together a few weeks ago, Don Hanson W-2 with my best hamon so far. I just wasn’t satisfied with the way it turned out. The frame spread a little bit and gave me some poor fit that after glue up that wasn’t there on the dry fit. Also the more I looked at the guard, the less satisfied I was. So I busted it all apart and rebuild it. Here’s the remake. Blued mild steel guard and a tapered frame. Handle is quilted poplar.
