Bladeless Multitool Suggestions

G gadgetgeek I think I would be happy with a couple different full and medium sized multi-tool options without blades as done by the trusted manufacturer (Leatherman, Victorinox or SOG) to choose from. These would essentially get carried when I need a multi-tool and stashed inside my field bag or a small tool bag with other flexible use tools away from home. I would likely carry one when I travel one way or another simply for the portability and a lot better than nothing functionality.

I think that with time we will see a market start to grow for these sorts of tools, but until security agencies start making sense, its hard for companies to predict what will actually be allowed. Add to the fact that many people don't have products that can be repaired, let alone have the skills for on the fly repairs, it does limit the market, but I hope we see it grow.

The thing is, I don't care if these MT's have blades at all regardless of travel restrictions. I always have a knife with me anyway.
