I bought some Blue Lube made by Benchmade and tried it on my 200 and Skyline. The knives do seem to be slicker when I flip them.
Any opinions on Blue Lube?

I have a bottle that I like. For the $8 I bought it for, it's pretty good. No odor either.

I like it. Got a bottle for free with a knife I bought so tried it out. It's good stuff. For about the same price though you can get Break-Free CLP. Excellent lubricant and offers great corrosion prevention.

I use it mainly on my firearms but since I always have some around I use it on my knives too with excellent results.

I picked up a bottle a few years ago (still working on that same bottle) and have oiled my knives, my customers knives, and my friends knives. It always improves the Acton of a knife and does not seem to attract dust.

Only thing I have noticed is it has a working time of about 3-6 months depending on use before more needs to be applied.

I believe it works well as a lubricant, dry film or something of the sort. But the corrosion resistance leaves it a bit lacking. There was a testing done on several products in the Maintenance section that showed the results of a rust test. Blue Lube didn't do too well from what I remember.

Interestingly I think Blue Lube is also the same as Prolix, a gun lubricant/cleaner. All made by a single company.

I've put some on 3 of my Kershaws so far and it seems to make them work a little faster.
