This, in my estimation (and talking to a couple other collectors) is a total list "so far" for the Kershaw Blur model line. Since this is probably the second most collected knife in the Kershaw line right behind the Leek, maybe we can get Jimmer or KershawLynda to make it a sticky for reference to those of us that collect these knives or would like to. If anyone finds that there are any questions concerning a number or run produced, perhaps we can get some help from the guys at Kershaw.

Is there any kind of a "sub" model number for the variations of steel types? Like I believe there's been at least 3 steel types for 1670BLK (440a, 13c26n and 14c28n).

Thanks.

I had no clue about the gray serrated tanto. Haven't even seen a pic. I believe there is a Dark Gray handled uncoated blade too? Pic posted by Hal IIRC. Maybe I don't. Been a long day.

If you were going by the steel type you would have to go by the date stamp right? There were no designations other than the dates to go by for the newer steels, other than the obvious (s30v, cpm -154, s60v, etc...).

No to my knowledge there have been no "sub" model numbers. The steel changes have just been a running change with no change to the model number.

There are actually a couple on there I've never seen a picture of. Hal and I discussed that. I believe it was one of the blue ones that were never confirmed by picture evidence too.

How long did it take you to compose this list?

Been a work in process since December, and never ending. :)

There is a purple with a BB blade

Only purple I've ever seen with a bead blasted blade was listed as 1670RD on the blade.

Correct. Thomas has posted before about steel types and date stamps (I'll have to dig that up). I believe it might also be found on the Kershaw site.

Its hard enough trying to keep up with the new models coming out this is getting expensive !

There are more blurs than I thought there were. And that purple, I never saw a model # on it. I think it was RXenergy's if I recall correctly.

Yeah I think it was his. I'm too lazy to go look though! I think svrider had the other purples along with that purple smoke leek... mmmhh... sexy
