Just got it from gpknives.com great place, two great guys. I looked all over for this knife, and they didn't have it either, BUT!!! As soon as they had a few...they emailed me right away.

Opened this baby up, and even though I didn't put it thru its paces YET, I will tonight, and let you know tommorow.

For now. It Is Sweet. Even grind, smooth action, and tight tolerances...typical benchmade. BUT: I find the blade is too small for what I had intended the knife for-general gentlemen's utility folder.

Lock is strong, titanium is beatiful. I have 0848 of 1000. I love the knife...if it was only a little bigger.

I ordered the all carbon fiber BM 770 for my supervisor's birthday...it should be here friday...

The 690 has a 3.25" blade. How big of a knife do you want for a gentleman's utility folder? Maybe you should get a BM 940 or a Spyderco Viele.

Shamelessly BTTT

I have all three you mention...I love them all...the MT LCC is as close as I have come to the perfect knife...but it is TOO BIG!
