bois d'arc primitive skills gathering

One of my daughters moved to a large farm that had osage orange(bois d'arc) trees all over. I told them to cut and stack the wood to let it cure properly. I was going to offer it to knifemakers for unique scales. I probably should go retrieve all of it before it gets introduced to a wood chipper.

wow, wish they had saved it in 6 or ft lengths
makes awesome bows
no better bow wood as far as many are concerned
