Well thanks for the help I will probably be avoiding them then, there are similar quality vintage knives to be had for less and better quality vintage to be had for the same price it seems.Boker has been around a long time and has a long history in the USA. Some of their knives are top notch. The knives that you've picked out are more "economical" choices in my opinion. They should be well constructed but the cover materials are not as high quality. And from what I see in the photos, the primary grinds are not as nice as some of the older and newer Bokers. This is common with economy knives. The knives that you've picked out would not be equivalent to a Solingen made Boker in my opinion. The modern Boker company does not make all of their knives in Germany.
Two of them are small knives. I know you didn't ask about value and it's not allowed but keep in mind that in general small knives have lower demand and market values.

I'm not so sure these were intentional as they are older but who knows, the price wasn't too expensive but being the budget line I felt with the new found info I can do better with buying other brands regular stuff for the same price in any case.Good decision.
Might be going up one rail here as we round the bend
-but i find the whole Boker (or whoever owns it nowadays) corporate obfuscation "made in..." "assembled in.." policy insulting to the intelligence of the customers.Like they care about that....
AG Russell on the other hand for instance has the good taste to be open about where their knives are made and it is stated clearly. Having purchased both brands in the past I can honestly say AGR has a lot more bang for your bucks.
