Does anyone here have any experience with this knife? I was thinking of picking one up just for funsies. Probably carry it only a couple times a week, for when I feel like carrying something silly.

From what I heard its an extremely high value blade, very similar to Zero Tolerance designs.

I had a custom once, very knife, but you need to understand that the handle is quite wide, so may not fit all hands (like my medium mitts).

Lots has been said about this kife, search is your friend. I think it's one of the very best folders in its price class, and it can indeed hold its own against a ZT.

I had posted a thread on here recently asking for some advice on picking between the Boker and a Kershaw JYD II. I ended up getting the Boker and it is an awesome knife for the money. Heavy (in a good way), locks up solid, no blade play, sharp. I have been carrying it as much as possible to "break" it in, and it does carry pretty well for a knife that size. No problems at all in jeans, cargo shorts, etc. Of course, now it has me itching to try out a ZT300..

My wife is used to the whole knives, guns, martial arts thing with me, but when I snapped that Boker open in front of her when I first got it, her eyes got big and she did a double take. Then she just smiled and shook her head at me. :D

I did have a question on the Boker for anyone else that has one (if I can explain this correctly):
On the non-clip side of the frame, when the blade is closed (or liner lock is disengaged), there is a slight amount of play between the frame/liner and the metal spine/spacer at the bottom of the handle by the lanyard hole. However, when the blade is opened, everything is solid, no play, etc. Anyone know if this is just a design in the frame, or maybe something needs to be tightened, etc.? Or am I just exhibiting OCD tendencies? :)

There's definitely something that needs to be tightened. Mine also came a little loose after some soft hammering. I took the screws out, put some Loctite on them and put them back in and the knife is now what it looks like: a tank.
I also wanted a ZT30x for quite some time, when I saw the Resurrection. 2 minutes later, it was mine! :D I really the recurve on this one, cause it is really easy to sharpen for a recurve.

Damn, now that I've written about it I need to play with it. Bad thing I have no idea where I put it the last time.

So how would I go about taking it apart to tighten the frame/liner to the back spacer? I started to mess with it a little and took the screws out on the non-clip side, but scales didn't seem to want to budge and I didn't want to force them off. I want to avoid taking the whole thing apart if necessary, but maybe it would be a good learning experience if I did.
PS I like the recurve on this as well, it really seems to help the blade bite and slice easier.
