I got my Nano in the mail today. Initially it was a bit stiff, but it is loosening up, as all knives do. As I do with all my knives, I did a paper cut test to see how sharp it was out of box. And I like the sound it makes. The bottom third of the blade was not sharp at all. It tore the paper I was cutting. The top two-thirds were excellent and exactly what I expect from a $40 knife. Other than the crappy sharpening on the bottom part of the blade, it is a well-executed knife. I'd like to know if anyone else has had problems like this,

my Nano arrived super sharp along the entire edge. my S2 however arrived extremely dull which was a big disappointment.

My wife's Valentine's present was a locally purchased (+$10 over OP's price for that 'convenience'!) Nano. I grabbed the first unopened box - checked it out - centered, a tad stiff (It broke in quickly - she loves it!) and a full length razor - paid for it and left. See if you can figure out why she loves her Nano - here she is in her new Wrangler (New 5/12 - after a six month wait for that color!):

Yeah, she likes bright green! We dressed it up a bit since this picture - at least she voluntarily removed the fuzzy pink steering wheel cover and headlamp eyelashes. Small victories. Me? I drive the soccer Mom's ride - a 2WD Liberty (behind her Jeep).

Another reason to own a Nano - it matches your car's paint color!
