I saw a YouTube video of one of them and it the quality looked fairly good. However I would like to hear from fellow knife enthusiasts before deciding to buy one. Does anyone here have one? If so, how do you rate it overall in terms of quality, sharpening and edge holding ability? Comments on the remainder of the Boker Plus line of yellow handled traditionals are welcome as well. (I saw a nice yellow lock back on another thread recently and it looked great, but I know that a single pic doesn't tell the whole story). Thanks.

I have three of the non-traditional Boker Plus knives and have been happy with them. One of them has been part of my daily carry for over 2 years.

That Rangebuster looks like an interesting Sod Buster clone. I noticed in one of the YouTube vids that it clearly had 440C stamped on the blade, which is a nice option, and that it looked like a STURDY lockback on the full-sized one.

I have seen these at a couple of gun shows. They aren't fine cutlery, but purpose designed to be a good work knife like their brethren, all the "sodbuster" knock offs. They looked pretty sturdy to me, and felt like it when in hand.

I have a stockman with Boker's 440c, and they did a nice job with the steel. Mine takes and holds a fine edge for a pretty long time, which was a really pleasant surprise. The steel has held up well at work, so I am thinking that the 440c on this knife would be a good blade steel for general use.

That and the Junior look pretty good. Do they make the same knives in non locking versions?

I have a Howser Memory Boker Plus, and it is a fine knife.

I can't comment on your specific knives, but on the Boker Plus line. I have bought one and seen others at shows, it is a hit and miss game when it comes to quality. I will say that the newer releases seem to be of better quality.

I've had several Boker Plus knives, and the quality has been good for the price.

I've had one knife from the Boker Magnum line, and it was an absolute piece of junk.
