I figured I would give a few first impressions on the newly released Boker Plus Rhino Calf. So far I really like this for being so small. It did come with a pretty dull edge, but it didn't take too long to correct. I will do a full review after I am done carrying it for two weeks. I shoot in 1080 as well so feel free to watch full screen :).

what kind of grind is it? Can't tell if it's flat or hollow. Also, let us know what you think of Boker's 440c (edge retention, ease of sharpening, etc). I personally like Boker's 440c, but takes a bit long to sharpen.

I am 95% sure it is hollow ground. Just by feel and sight it looks hollow ground. Bokers 440c is easy to sharpen, holds a pretty good edge from my limited use.

Honestly, a knife that small might be carried better in a wallet. It'd be interesting to see a leather wallet sheath for it.

I should revise. The 440c was reprofiling easily I havnt gotten it to my liking though.

Reprofiling? Hollow grinds don't leave much room to work with. I guess one could convex the edge and maybe trim the tip for more belly. I'd love to see your end result.

Well the edge came really dull. So I was working on reprofiling it to a 30 degree back bevel with a 40 degree primary edge.
