As a boy growing up in the 1950s/1960s, my mom bought me a pair of 10 inch tall leather work-type boots which had a small knife pocket sewn on the outer side. The pocket was also made of leather and had a flap with a metal snap. It was only large enough to hold a small folding pocket knife or a nail clipper.
She ordered the boots from the Montgomery Wards catalog and I don't know the manufacturer.
Are there any modern boots with an integral knife pocket?
