Be careful. The Blade Show thread is not over yet. Watch this space.

Note also the images added today. Post 9696 is a 3 1/4" Swayback Jack Work in Progress. No finished goods yet.

TB and I were texting about my fluff and buff and it put me in the right place at the right time for the opportunity to post these pics.

More to come.

Not to be a know-it-all, but I have always been told that a "Jack" referred a two-bladed knife. To me this beautiful Bose is simply a SwayBack.

Thanx, Jeff

Tony sent me this to entertain you while he finishes up a couple of knives next week. This is pretty cool and you probably haven't seen it before. In his nomenclature this is WLBW#0 and it is pretty cool. This will not be on his Blade Show table and I do not have it for sale either. I hope I have the order close to right.

Great images, Skip. Thanks for posting! Beautiful Wharncliff Lock back Whittler. I've got the Case Collaboration. What a great knife!

I'm impressed looking at the progression pics but it's more impressive knowing that there's so much work involved that can't be shown in pictures.

Completely agree. This is definitely the headlines. Cutting out and grinding and heat treating those perfect blades is a part you never see on any of the threads.

Wow...What a great show!
This one scared me just a little!!!!:eek::eek:
Easy there Tony!! That's a big swing you're putting on that hammer!!
That said....Mr. Bose knows how hard to whack at a knife, that's for sure!!:D

That was a joke. I never use a big hammer. That was the first lesson I learned.

That's some funny stuff. You should have had a 6# forging hammer for that picture:D

Beautiful work. Setting the bar very high:thumbup:
