I am finding the BOSS HG55 LE to be extraordinarily appealing, and I think I put my finger on it today. Its blade size (length, width, and thickness), profile, or shape is comparable to some of my favorite Randalls. I took a couple photos this afternoon, of my BOSS HG55 LE #76 with one of my Randall #27 knives, and one of my son's Randall #5-6" knife.

Nice shots I've always loved Randall knives. I owned a few Sasquatch's back in the day.....now THAT was a sweet knife :)

while they are very similar, I like that they are far enough apart stylistically that neither could ever be confused for the other maker wise. a sign of a good eye for aesthetic.

I have a large Sasquatch (Doug Kennifick's dealer special) with a White Micarta hanle with Single Finger Grip contour. It's a stunning blade. I should take a few snapsots of it.

The 27 is the first thing I thought off when the HG55 blade only pic was first put up. I still havn't warmed to the thumb grooves, but probally will.
