Just curious if there are any options in between my Kershaw Shuffle II, and something like an Esnyx Beer Buster. I'd like something a little nicer than my Kershaw, but the opener is super handy when camping, etc. I'm finding it very difficult to find something anywhere between $20 and $800.
I had a DpX HEST/F Urban, which has an integrated bottle/wave opener, but never really bonded with it. That's more the level of price/build quality I'm looking for though. No other real requirements other than a folder, preferably with a clip, and not over a 3.5" blade or so.

SAKs - many have bottle openers among other useful tools.

I should have specified, looking for a single blade folder with an integrated bottle opener, like the ones above. Not so much a SAK or Spyderco Clipitool type solution.

If you want a traditional knife there are many options, GEC Beer Scout, Case has a mini trapper with a caplifter, Trestle Pines has a couple, RoughRider has the tailgate trapper, there are a number others as well.
I carry a K’roo traditional style single implement slipjoint caplifter/prytool that I call the “Chunky Drunk” his execution of my idea. I always already carry a knife so I wanted something to compliment that and also not have a blade attached to it so I can carry it anywhere.
As mentioned Victorinox has a huge variety with lifters.
Not to sure about modern folders with a lifter, never appealed to me even though I love caplifter traditionals.

An affordable custom option is one of the friction folders from Michael Morris Knives. His website says that his knives range from $120-220. They are a friction folder and the part that sticks out when the knife is closed is a bottle opener. I've never handled one, but I have always thought they look nice.

Interesting. Something like that with a tip-up pocket clip might be really nice. I think most of his knives are fairly small, but it's worth reaching out to him I think. Thanks!

Does Emerson Wave function as a bottle opener?

It does in a pinch, at least my Delica wave does. I've looked a bit for a wave opener I like that looks like it would do the job, but unfortunately I don't much care for Emerson stuff, and most of the Spyderco waves, like my Delica, are very wide folded. Another brand with a wave opener might be a good option depending on the design though.

Find a knife you like in the price range your looking for and learn how to open a bottle with the spine of the blade (closed preferably). Now ever knife (especially the uncoated ones) has a integrated bottle opener!

I had a bayou shooter endura like this. The bottle opener worked well enough, but kept getting caught on my pants when I'd take it out and opening the knife!

*this is a joke, I do know its supposed to do that*

The HEST or HEAT are going to be way bulkier than you likely want.

Get a waved Delica. The wave is a perfect bottle opener.

Victorinox Rambler. Then you can carry whatever other knife you want.

Also, the Case Mini Trapper with bottle opener is a nice option. Once you hold and use a Mini Trapper you'll wonder why you waited so long. :)

I don't know if it's a coincidence or intended, but the raised portion of the clip on the Buck Spitfire is the best bottle opener I've ever had on a knife. That model is also customizable on Buck's website.

Any knife can open a brew. I opened beers for years with a Bic lighter back in my smoking days. YouTube will show you.

There's a billion little cap lifters out there made of aluminum, titanium, whatevrium... Leatherman Brewzer gets my nod.

Myself, I'd work with a custom maker and have it like I want it. That'd be a fun build project.

I've recently been smitten with the Benchmade Aller. It has a bottle opener and prybar built into a very small package.

Thanks for the input everyone. I've considered carrying a separate SAK or Mini Trapper, or a dedicated bottle opener, but honestly I just don't want any more stuff in my pockets. The other suggestion to use a regular knife to open bottles works fine for many people, but I just don't like to pry jagged metal with the edge of my knife blades.

This option actually looks really interesting. You just use the opening in the clip sideways?

The custom route also interest me, I just really don't know enough about custom knife makers to know how to pursue it. Thanks again everyone!
