What is your opinion on advantages and disadvantages of a bowie with a long sharp clip point such as a musso bowie style compared to a Jason Knight recurve style? a long clip point musso style bowie I would be concerned of the tip breaking off, what's you opinion for both styles, which blade style do you think would be more of a user?
 
The profile of the blade from both the side and the back are equally important.

Clip points can be extremely strong, it all depends on exactly how it is ground.

The only way to know is to get both, or at least hold them in your hand, and compare them.
