I picked up this boys axe head last treasure score, I like it and want to rehang it, possibly on an old Collins Company boys haft I have.
It looks a little like a Connecticut pattern too.

I am curious to learn the maker if possible, and hoping someone can help ID the maker thru the few clues it provides.

Stamped ... T CO ...
Weight stamp is very intriguing ...2 3/4 but the 2 is stamped partially over a "c" or "o" maybe..?

Thanks for looking and helping, any guesses or thoughts appreciated.

Seems like an overlayed bit (from the second side-picture). I seem to recall that Collins went with the inserted bit.

Can anyone confirm? I may totally be off-base.

I'm %99 sure that is a Dunn Edge Tool Co head, Oakland Maine.

Thank you JB, I will look into The Dunn Edge Tool Co.
Would they have used just company initials? I can't show it in pictures however there may be an eroded E before the T
