Ever since I was around twelve years old Boston was always one of my all time kick ass hard rock groups. Thier lead singer, Brad Delp, died yesterday of unknown causes at 55. They were getting ready to go on tour this spring and summer and brad was engaged to marry his long time girlfriend.

I got see them in concert twice and they always put an an awsome show. Brad's vocal range was incredible from mellow ballads to explosive screaching heavy rock.

Rest in peace Brad!:(

His cause of death was suicide via carbon monoxide. Very tragic and a great guy with an incredible voice.

Damn! I really hate it when rockers kill themselves. They hurt all their fans when they do that.:(

Brad and former Boston member Barry Goudreau also put out a couple albums with a group called "RTZ" and "Delp and Goudreau". I have all of the CD's and you can hear the Boston influence on the guitar sound, layering and vocals. They are worth buying if you like the Boston sound.

Some very rare concert footage of "Don't look back".
