Braun 7 Series.

I know there are multiple threads on what brand or type of electric shaver to buy but I'm looking for specific information regarding the Braun 7 Series. My current route is to either use a wet shave or a Norelco that is 6ish years old. If I'm going to work I generally use the electric because I don't have to worry about time or nicking myself.

Is the Braun 7s worth the extra cost in comparison to another Braun series such as the 5s and the Norelcos?

I've been a Braun fan for a while (did the Norelco stint before that). I really like my Series 7 razor. The cleaning fluid does cost a bit, but having a nice clean razor each time is worth it to me. It shaves very close - closer than my previous Brauns. More importantly, it does so with less skin irritation. I'd say go for it. I've been very pleased with mine.

As far as the Braun line in general is concerned, I can tell you my 7500 series shaver is still going strong after over a decade of daily use.
