Two little edc-style bronze knives for sale, forged from old bar stock salvaged from a pre-WWII fishing vessel. If you think a super-steel knife is badass, just wait 'till you get ahold of bronze, the original metal knife material! Add a forged bronze knife to your collection of oddball blades!

For more information on how these knives came about, see:
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1288453-Bronze-Bladed-Knives

These blades are sharp and tough enough to easily cut and stab flesh. If you ask about edge retention, I'm revoking your knife merit badge! :D

Both blades are just under 3/16" thick, with an OAL of just about 7 1/2" ( the convex one is slightly longer).

One is convex ground, the other is more contemporary in shape, and has a flat grind. Each comes with an "Annunaki-hide" (cow) textured black leather stitched sheath with a long belt loop. Grip is wrapped nylon cord and deerskin.

Price: $140 each (both sold/spf), shipped to USA (international shipping extra)
Paypal: KLSAMEE@YAHOO.COM

You got it Teru115.

Hey there you don't have the email option enabled so would you please contact me I have a couple of questions?

Payment received.

I just want to clarify that I wanted the knife that sits to the left of the first two pictures.

Thanks for clarifying, the one on the left is the convex-ground blade; it's also the one that is inserted into the sheath in the other photos.

The one on the right of the first two photos is the flat ground/contemporary. Better doubly-confirm the one you want, Teru!

Ok, I would like to get the convex-ground blade that is pictured on the left and in the sheath.
Thanks.

The left knife is all yours, Teru!

Knife on the right of the first photos is still available.

Another cool and sometimes useful thing about bronze knives is that they won't cause sparks.

The knives used to open black powder kegs on 18 century and prior British warships were bronze. They were called a, Powder Monkey knife because the lads that ran powder and shot to the cannons etc were usually boys of 12 y/o or so.

You got it, Dr. D., it's the one on the right side of the first two photos.

No problem. It will be in the mail Monday!

Thanks Darkaether, it's going to be an interesting blade project. The flat ground blade was able to slice a receipt pretty cleanly, but the convex one was not. Out of three bronze blades, the two flat grinds seemed the best, so it would be interesting to hear what Teru thinks.

I received the convex bronze knife on Monday, thanks to Sam's quick shipping. The knife look nice, balanced and feel good in hand. The handle is slightly short at 3 1/4 and there is plenty of cutting edge at 4 1/8". It has a thick stock roughly 5/16" and that doest get tapered down much resulting in a very thick edge. This knife has trouble cutting into printer papers. I tried using the Sharpmaker to touchup the edges but the stones were not making contacts with the apex so that didn't improve it. I will try stropping next when I get more free time. This knife remind me of a bushcraft blade but it's too soft, too pretty and rare to be pressed into field use. I will try using it as fruit knife to see how it will perform.

Teru, I was afraid that it might be too thick to cut decently. If need be I can grind the blade flat without changing the curve and profile, and it should slice better.
