Brown and Phar pocket knives

Hello, I`m not sure if I have the name right, but here goes. At one time there was a company who made pocket knives, and I believe the company was called 'Brown and Phar. The only thing I can remember is that the knives could be taken apart, as the slabs were held together by screws. I only was able to view one, and it seemed to be a well made knife. Does anyone recall this knife, and if so, might there be some of these knives still available? My Dad and A family friend wrote in response to a company ad wanting dealers, however they wrote back that they weren`t interested. This may have happened because the company went out of business. Any imput will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
