This is an early piece by maker Ben Tendick of BRT Bladeworks that was custom made for me. It features a 9" blade of 5/32" 5160 carbon steel with a rough 'forged' finish and a handle with whats called horse stall mat, its a rubber like material thats very comfortable in the hand. This knife has never been taken outdoors an d used for any cutting, slicing etc. I made 2 attempts to sharpen it with different types of sharpeners but didn't do very well. Its still decently sharp though and is built to work. It comes with a kydex sheath with tek-lok.
