Hey folks I'm looking at my first auto knife and definitely considering the new 110 factory auto. My question is first, those of you who have tried them what do you think of them? And also does the knife still have a solid feeling of the regular 110. Thanks for any information!

Currently unavailable on the Buck Website, the Auto 110 is subject to restrictions that you will have to check out before attempting to purchase. From Buck:
"**Please Note: The sale of the 110 Auto is subject to restriction by the laws of many states and territories in the United States and by Federal law. Federal law also restricts the interstate shipment of these knives except to certain customers. The federal restrictions are described in 18 U.S.C. § 1716(9) (as amended) and 15 U.S.C. §§ 1242, 1243 and 1244 (as amended). If you are interested in purchasing the 110 Auto, please contact 800-326-2825. This knife is prohibited under the Criminal Code of Canada, Part 3 Firearms and other Weapons, Section 84 and cannot be shipped into Canada."

I've had a few and would recommend them. They fire pretty good and still feel solid in the hand. You can find them online or through a buck dealer for around $140 or so.

Feels pretty much like a 110. I think it was well done and well worth their asking price.

If you like the regular 110, you should like the auto just fine. I like the crisp spring and good snap when it opens. I have several auto knives. This is quality that you can feel.

I would recommend it to any 110 fans who meet the requirements of your particular laws. Buck did a great job on this knife in my opinion. BY the way, I have carried it daily since I got it a few months ago.
