:cool:...hmmm...I'll be darned if I can't find 'em on the new Buck website...Here's the best I can do for ya until someone wises me up as to the new location of the codes...:cool:

1973 - Added model # to above

Here is some additional date information about the 110 Folding Hunter and the 112 Ranger:
· 1974 to 1980: one dot on either side of the model # (example: .110.)
· 1980: two dots on the right side of the model # (example: .110..)
· 1981 to 1986: two dots on either side of the model # (example: ..110..)

Not sure if the 2008 and 2009 are right, BCCI sheet has them swapped, can anyone confirm a 2008 knife?

Maybe, none of my Custom Shop 110's have a date code on the tang, even the ones I ordered in the last 2-3 years.

:cool:...I wonder if that's just being seen on the "Dam" customs...My BG-42 Nicky Sam from last year ain't got no year stamp...:confused::confused:
 
Just checked them again, none of mine 420HC or BG-42 have a date code.

All 4 were ordered in the last 3 years.
 
Only my Dam customs have a date tang stamp too.
My other half dozen or so customs are BG-42 with no date stamps.
A lot of recent custom orders are Dams...so, I hope they have the 2008 stamp as well.
Stay tuned...
 
Just looked at my 110AG, made in April 2008. The arrow is pointing up - the opposite of the 2007 stamp.

My newer finger groove 110 on which I just got the blade replaced was replaced with a vertical arrow. The finger groove 110 I just got on ebay has two dots. My youngest was born in 80 so that pleases me. I'll give him the knife, one of these days. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for this thread guys.:thumbup: I could never find the newer date stamp codes. Just to confirm again, my new 297 has an "arrow up" stamp (2008).

I hate date codes to!

Ruins the whole evening is she codes!

(That ones for any EMS guys in here) :D
