I've recently acquired a set of Mammoth Ivory and would like to lay it into a 110.
I'm not sure what blade and bolster combo to use.
I'm thinking brass and aftermarket damascus blade, or perhaps a factory stainless damascus.

Any opinions are valued.

Hey Jerad, glad to see you got 'er up and running!
Why that blade right there might look pretty good with that Mastodon!
Can't wait to see what you do with this one, whichever path you choose.

Yes, It should be fun! Thanks for your input Sit. Happy Knife making!

Here's what came out of the clamps. The Mahogany inlays are off a train deck from the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel circa 1910.
The deck was rather rotten on the outside and needed to be replaced (8" thick! 200-300 years old maybe when harvested) Some wood was salvaged and planed down and handed down to me.
The Ivory is 15-30,000 year old Mammoth Tusk Ivory and finished quite nicely. I also used a Stainless Damascus Buck Custom blade.
This is my 111th Buck 110 and is for sale at $415 shipped.
